H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, Grand Master of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George and Head of the Royal House of Bourbon Two Sicilies, accompanied by his spouse H.R.H. Princess Camilla of Bourbon Two Sicilies visited the exhibit “Virtute et Merito” organized in honor of King Charles III.
The Duke and Duchess arrived in Madrid accompanied by their daughters, Princess Maria Carolina, Duchess of Calabria and Palermo and Princess Maria Chiara, Duchess of Capri. They visited the most historical and fascinating sites of the city connected with the figure of King Charles III such as the Parco del Ritiro, the Botanical Gardens, the Fountain of Cybele and Neptune and the Puerta de Alcalà.
The Duke of Castro was very moved as he spoke of the many places in splendid Madrid that recalled historical periods linked to his family.

Paris, October 18, 2016 – Their Royal Highnesses Prince Charles and Princess Camilla of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke and Duchess of Castro, attended the ceremony for the conferral of the Prince Louis de Polignac Foundation annual awards for excellence in culture and the arts.
The event is sponsored by H.R.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. This year the ceremony was held in the Simone and Cino del Duca Foundation in Paris. Also present were the Chancellor of the French Institute, Monsieur Gabriel de Broglie, and the President and co-founder, Madame Irene Daurelle.
Prince Louis de Polignac, godfather of H.R.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, who was present for the event, created the organization in 1997 to confer a medal of honor to French scholars and experts who have worked to ensure the preservation and respect of the French architectural legacy. Numerous dignitaries attended the ceremony.
