Don Augusto Ruffo di Calabria, Delegate of Lombardy, organised the Pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of “Maria Santissima di Monte Berico” near Vicenza.
Many old aged people who live in the retirements homes of the north of Italy, to which the knights and dames of the Order offer their support, took part in this initiative.

Among the Authorities that attended the event were: the Prefect of Vicenza H.E. Mr. Angelo Tranfaglia, Mr. Sante Serraco, the President of the Town Council on behalf of the Mayor Constantinian knight Prof. Enrico Hüllweck, the Head of Police Administration Mr. Dario Rotondi, the Carabineer Provincial Commander Col. Silvestro Piacentini and Revenue Guard Commander Col. Arturo Mascolo. In addition to the several Knights and Dames who accompanied the pilgrims, were the Delegate of Triveneto Comm. Paolo Bellini and many Representatives from the Lombardy Delegation: the Deputy Delegate Count Alessandro di Carpegna Brivio; the Delegate of Mr. Cesare Talpini, Delegate of Cremona and Mantova Mr. Gabriele Crivellaro, the Delegate of Como Mr. Giuseppe Rizzani, the Delegate of Asti Mr. Roberto Marmo; the Delegate of Lodi Mr. Maurizio Pappalardo; the Delegate of Varese Ten. Col. R.G. Biagio Alberto Angelo Bonfiglio. Commander Nicola Amenduni, eminent son of Puglia region and one of the most important businessmen of Vicenza as well as supporter of the Order offered, at the end of the religious ceremony, a lunch to the elderly pilgrims.

The Cardinal Grand Prior of the Constantinian Order, accompanied by the Master of Ceremonies Vincenzo Giovagnorio, paid a visit to the “ANFASS” Institute in Lonigo on the occasion of the pilgramage to the sanctuary “ Maria Santissima di Monte Berico” in Vicenza.
The Cardinal was welcomed by the Delegate of Triveneto Commander Paolo Bellieni, by the Mayor of Lonigo Dr Giuseppe Boschetto and by the President of the Institute Giancarlo Guzzo.

Among those present, as well as the patients of the centre, were Rev. Mons. Vittorio Montagna, Archpriest of Lonigo and the lieutenant Commander of the local Carabinieri Station Marshall Biagio Lettieri.
After the official greetings, the Cardinal Grand Prior visited and blessed the departments of the institute that has been supported lately by the constantinian knight Sergio Antoniuzzi. |

During this year’s 33rd edition of the Scanno Award, that took place in the town of Scanno in Abruzzo, H.R.H. the Duke of Calabria sent a message of greeting to Manfredi Tanturri, the President of the “Riccardo Tanturri Foundation”. Many Military and Public authorities were present for the occasion.
Among those who received the award were Rainer Masera and Ilvo Diamanti.

Delegations and groups of the Constantinian Order across the world celebrated the important Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross, symbol of the Constantinian Order with celebratory Masses and by the demonstration of solidarity with the poor.
The Grand Master spiritually joined in the prayers of the knights and dames of the Order. |

The Delegation of Sicily attended the Solemn Mass celebrated in the Basilica Magione in Palermo, in accordance to the canons of the Byzantine rite presided by Rev. Papas Luigi Lucini, Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace of the Order.

Celebrations of the “Madonna of Tindari” Patroness of Sicily

His Eminence Cardinal Grand Prior, accompanied by the Master of Ceremonies of the Order Knight Vincenzo Giovagnorio, upon the invitation of the Bishop of Patti H.R.E. Mons. Ignazio Zambito, presided the solemn Pontifical on the occasion of the festivity of the Madonna of Tindari, Patroness of the Diocese and co patroness of Sicily.

The rite took place in the Basilica of Tindari and was attended by a delegation of Constantinian Knights headed by dr Antonio di Janni. Among those in attendance were General Antonio Jovane. Thousands of devotees coming from all over Sicily and Calabria honoured the Virgin and received the sacraments.
On the occasion H.R.E. Mons. Ignazio Zambito was invested into the Order.

His Eminence Cardinal Grand Prior, accompanied by Knight Vincenzo Giovagnorio Master of Ceremonies of the Order, inaugurated and blessed an amusement park in Marina di Caronia, near Messina. Rev. Don Antonio Cipriano Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace and a large group of Constantinian Knights welcomed His Eminence who was received by the Mayor of the town of Caronia and from the Assistant to the Attorney of the Republic of Mistretta, Ms Enza Napoli. |
| Afterwards, in the Municipality of Castell’Umberto, whose Gonfalon has recently been decorated with the silver Benemerenti Medal of the Order, Cardinal Grand Prior blessed and reopened the valuable Chapel of the XVI century dedicated to Saint George Martyr. The little Church has been purchased and restored thanks to the munificence of the Constantinian Knight Professor Salvatore Mangione, who donated it to the Order. Besides the large number of authorities attending the ceremony, many mayors of the neighbouring villages were present. |
